Have you ever heard of cycle-syncing? It’s a way of living in harmony with our natural cycles (hormonal and/ or lunar) that allows for greater productivity, ease and fulfillment.
For most of us, the way that we’ve been raised to think of “productivity” is very masculine and linear. Turns out, when everyone tries to fit into the cookie-cutter masculine productivity model, it can be incredibly depleting and lead to all kinds of health issues, and even burnout.
If we don’t have the same kind of energy as cisgender men (who actually have shorter AND longer hormone cycles, but that’s a story for another day) why would we try to make ourselves act, work, or think like them?
One of the best things I’ve learned during my own health journey is how to embrace my different phases to plan my different projects around my cycle.
If you have a period, you have a different hormone profile during each phase of your cycle, and you’re naturally better at different types of thinking, relating, and executing during each of those phases.
You can harness the power of each of these phases to be more effective, productive, and magnetic, eloquent, and just plain magical!
