Reclaim your health AND enjoy food again, without shame, stress or worry.

An 8-Week Group Coaching Intensive to help you break free from yo-yo dieting, make peace with your body, and remember what it feels like to simply enjoy food!

Your relationship to food is a direct reflection of your personal power.

What does food have to do with power? Literally everything.

Naomi Wolf said it best in her amazing book, The Beauty Myth: “A culture fixated on female thinness is not an obsession about female beauty, but an obsession about female obedience. Dieting is the most potent political sedative in women’s history; a quietly mad population is a tractable one.”

We are BOMBARDED every day by the media with impossible beauty standards. Society tells us that our worth is based on how small we can make ourselves. Let’s think about that for a second.

When was the last time you felt truly powerful? When was the last time that you felt like the badass b*tch that you are?

Were you measuring your waist at the time? Eating a salad? Were you shrinking down to take up LESS space? No, my guess is that you were using your voice, or your body, in a way that was empowering AF to you and everyone around you. Or you were standing up for a cause you believe in. When you are fully empowered, you are taking up space. You are claiming what’s yours. You’re definitely not shrinking!!

I want to help you experience MORE times like this, and a really juicy place to start that journey is your relationship to food.

One way we attempt to experience power is by controlling our diet. Have you ever been caught in this cycle? You feel “out of control” or “powerless” and so you:

  • Go on a restrictive diet to try to control your weight
  • Cut out entire food groups
  • Compare yourself to a celebrity or someone you think has a “perfect body” and feel bad about yourself
  • Try to “eat healthy” and end up hungry ALL THE TIME
  • Feel shame about how or what you eat and numb out – either with more food, or something else
  • Feel powerless over your cravings and believe you just need to exert more willpower
  • Tell yourself this is the “last diet” you’re ever going to try

I have the solution for you. The no-more-diets solution. The solution that allows you to feel expansive, not contracted. The solution that helps you re-create your relationship with your body, and with food.

The Relish™ Program was created for womxn like you, who want to feel healthy, sexy, and powerful in their bodies and enjoy delicious foods that they love, but have struggled with yo-yo dieting, willpower, cravings, and feeling generally confused and frustrated when it comes to creating a healthy, sustainable plan for their nutrition.

Over the course of 8 weeks, I am going to give you the tools you need to:

  • Understand the signals your body is sending you
  • Fix your digestive issues
  • De-mystify and de-shame your “weird” behaviors around food
  • Understand why you have certain food cravings
  • Know exactly which nutrients you’re deficient in and how to adjust your diet to get what you need
  • Eliminate that afternoon energy crash that has you reaching for the nearest source of chocolate
  • Shift your relationship with food from stressful to peaceful
  • Befriend your body
  • Enjoy, savor, RELISH each meal
  • Experience gratitude and satisfaction on a daily basis

So that you can stop dieting forever and feel empowered AF in your body.

People are saying:

Hello! If we haven’t met, my name is Michelle Casey.
I’m a Functional Nutrition Coach and I believe you deserve more joy, power, and satisfaction.

In my nearly 20 years experience in the health and fitness industry, I have met hundreds of clients who have severely damaged their bodies, and dare I say spirits, chasing their ideal body with the newest, shiniest diet trend.

Not only is your “ideal body” very rarely actually your idea, but – and I say this with a deep and abiding respect for how powerful and capable you actually are – you’ll never reach it. It is, by its very definition, an impossible goal. The “ideal body” conversation is one that we are all born into. It distracts us from loving ourselves, valuing our worth, and standing fully in our power.

We need a completely new conversation about nutrition.

Unfortunately, we can’t have that conversation until we deal with the strongly-held beliefs we all inherited about food and our bodies, and create a whole new context for how we nourish ourselves.

Enter The Relish™ Program.

I designed this program to START with that contextual shift, and to enable you to facilitate your own transformation, as well as giving you the tools and information needed to make smart choices that are aligned with your health goals.

Relish™ does not include a rigid meal plan, or counting calories.

However, if you are following a therapeutic diet, you will definitely be able to apply these principles and get even more out of it!

What IS included:

  • 8 Live Group Coaching Sessions (over Zoom) so that you can get individualized coaching within a group session
  • Access to the recordings of each session so that you can really absorb the information
  • Fillable PDF worksheets that you can use over and over again
  • Self-assessments to better understand your signs, symptoms and nutrient deficiency
  • Coaching to overcome the roadblocks that have stopped you from having a healthy relationship with food and your body
  • Nutrition science to help you understand why your body needs what it needs
  • That supportive “Good Peer Pressure” from the other participants who are all on this journey with you
  • A holistic approach to how the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of your life all affect your health
  • A private Facebook group for support in between sessions

The deets:

This class takes place over 8 weeks. Each group coaching session will be a live, interactive Zoom video call. Calls will be recorded, however, I recommend being live whenever possible.

The weekly topics are as follows:

Week 1: Intention and Observation
Week 2: Shake Your Foundation
Week 3: Optimizing Absorption
Week 4: Nutrition Science
Week 5: Brave Experimentation
Week 6: Cravings Deconstruction
Week 7: Mood Stabilization
Week 8: Body Celebration
You will have assignments each week, and I would plan on spending 1-2 hours on each (although you may be quicker, and some of them are just a few minutes per day). As with anything, you get out of it what you put into it.

You will also be invited to a secret (meaning no one can see who is a member) Facebook group, for support outside of sessions.

The next session is not yet scheduled, but will begin in September or October 2020. Get on the waitlist to be the first to know the dates, get special early-bird pricing, and get tips and tools to upgrade your relationship with food in the meantime!

The Relish Program is for you if:

  • You’re willing to take an honest look at yourself, your beliefs and your patterns
  • You’re tired of trying to fit yourself into a one-size-fits-all diet
  • You have a nagging sense that how we’ve been conditioned to think of foods as “good” or “bad” isn’t the whole story
  • You want to stop dieting forever
  • You want to feel deeply and truly nourished
  • You’re a woman, womxn, femme-identifying or queer
  • You’re ready to say goodbye to your toxic relationship with bad body image issues

It’s NOT for you if:

  • You’re looking for any kind of a “quick fix”
  • You’re committed to a very restricted way of eating (vegan, carnivore, etc.)
  • You want to be told what to do
  • You don’t believe Black Lives Matter
  • You don’t understand that trans* women ARE women
  • You aren’t ready for a major breakthrough in your relationship to food & your body!

Before she was even done with the program, Rebekah had this to say:

“For the first time ever when addressing my nutrition and health, I’m not measuring success by the number on the scale and I’m uncovering the deep-seated beliefs that have determined how I have related to my body and my food.

If you are tired of more of the same/trying to fix yourself/beating yourself up or just need someone to walk you through nutrition basics without judgment or a regimented “answer” about the “right way”, Michelle Casey is your gal. Doing this in a group setting (via online group chat) with Michelle as our guide has brought so much more from the program than I expected. I’ve gone to therapy and I’ve gone to a nutritionist but I’ve never had someone help me take a look at my habits using a holistic approach to the whole person before.

I would strongly recommend this course if any of this sounds intriguing to you. Life-changing insights.”
