Fun fact about me, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis back in 2014. And I’ve managed to keep it in remission this whole time with the same natural science based approach I use with my clients. Fun fact about you, your gut health is connected to every other aspect of your health. And if your gut is inflamed or unhealthy, it’s incredibly difficult to get any other health issues sorted out. 2500 years ago, Hippocrates said all disease begins in the gut. Well, I’m here to say all health can to!
In this podcast, I’m going to talk about specific things you can do to seriously uplevel your health game in sustainable, manageable ways. From targeted nutrition, to habit building, to mindfulness and mindset work, to the common pitfalls I see in my coaching practice. We’re looking at all of it with a holistic scientific view. So what do I mean by that? Holistic means looking at the big picture, taking into account your whole self and your whole life when creating your health goals, plans, and protocols. It means treating you as a whole person, not a set of symptoms or problems to be fixed. It means making connections between things that sometimes may not seem connected on the surface. And by scientific, I mean using research backed remedies and protocols, going deeper, asking questions, testing and tweaking, and practicing curiosity with ourselves instead of judgment.
